When we go out making music with Ann McCausland, we call ourselves the Merry Makers. Sometimes Ann's daughter, Bernice, joins us.
When we entertain with Al & Marion Mazur (two pictures below), we are known as the Good Times.
Al is past president of the Canadian Grandmasters Fiddling Association.
Margot has been a great help with our entertaining. She is a person of many talents. She spends a lot of time working to set up the music, and preparing our programs.
She is learning how to play the guitar, so when we go out entertaining she does that, along with singing and acting as mistress of ceremonies. Also, she dances with the residents and gets them singing and participating in the event.
Often she sets up a draw for a prize for the residents.
She is pictured in the upper left doing her thing with the Merry Makers.
The artwork in the signs was done by my son Eric Staflund.
He works in Ottawa for Kelly Signs.
Ambleside BBQ (2012)
We entertain at Unitarian House, and here is a picture that includes some of our loyal fans.
Marion's Birthday Party
In Florida we are sometimes joined by Hope
Warner (from Lake George, Michigan) on steel guitar.
We sometimes entertain with our good friends Jack & Diane Rogers. They
live near the town of Moira, New York, and spend their winters at K&K Mobile Home Park in Bradenton, Florida.
Sometimes we are joined by our good friend Ruth Chappell. Ruth lives in Hamilton, Ontario, and spends her winters at the Villa Del Sol trailer park in Bradenton, Florida.
Joe Estock is from Ashtabula, Ohio, and resides in Florida at K&K Trailer Park. He sometimes joins us when we go out entertaining in Florida.
Stan & Marg Birkness are from Mississauga Ontario, and are residents of K&K Mobile Home Park. Stan is the leader and founder of the Trailer Estates Jammers.
